Diving mini course in Santa Marta

It is a fascinating sport, the perfect excuse to broaden your horizons and explore new corners of the Tayrona Park; a place that due to its biodiversity enchants divers of all levels

Activity details:

This adventure starts at 07:30 am , the meeting point is at the dive shop, where we will check that you are in good health, you will receive a talk from our instructors about underwater communication, safety rules and procedures.

​Then, we will set sail on the boat, heading to our destination in the Tayrona Park, where we will begin the dives. Once at the site we will practice some basic safety skills at a shallow depth, accompanied by your instructor, before heading towards open water and a maximum depth of 12 meters. The instructor will be with you all the time during the dive, we leave in small groups, and thus we take better care of everyone. There are 2 dives, each dive lasts approximately 45 minutes and they are in different places within the park.

Around 12:00 pm we will be ending this experience, returning again.

• Please note that you need to wait 18 hours to fly after diving.
