Diving in San Andres

San Andrés is one of the most recommended places in all of Colombia to dive. You will be amazed by the wonder that you will find within the sea of seven colors, its diversity of fauna and flora in the marine world, make it look unique, you will also see ships and boats that were shipwrecked and confined to the bottom of the sea.

We offer diving activity for both certified divers and people who are not certified.

Activity details:

In any of the activities, the meeting point is at the diving center, from here we leave the Toninos pier. Our departures are always by boat.

DIVING MINI-COURSES: It is for beginners or for people who do not have certificates, it consists of 3 hours, we require a minimum of 3 people for this activity. The first thing we do is a theoretical session (video for 20 minutes), then we go on to do the practice in the pool or a little deeper and then we set sail by boat to the place where you will dive.

The diving time is approximately 40 - 50 minutes, the duration depends on the air consumption, the depth is a maximum of 12 meters, this course includes equipment rental, practice in a pool / shallow water and exit to the sea.

FUN DIVES: For people who are already certified and who have regularly dived, we offer double departures (2 dives in one morning), including equipment rental except dive computer. The meeting time is 08:00 am and returns around 12:30 pm.

NIGHT DIVING: It is only for certified divers, the course consists of 1 dive, includes rental of diving equipment and flashlight, we require a minimum of 3 people for this activity.

PADI OPEN WATER CERTIFICATION COURSES: It is the first level of recreational diving certification, several sections are carried out and divided by modules. There are 5 theoretical modules, 5 practical sessions in shallow water and 4 dives in the sea.

To take this course and obtain the certification, the minimum age is 12 years old, the first thing to do is fill out a medical form before participating in this activity.

To obtain the certificate, both the practical and theoretical parts of the course must be passed.

PRACTICE: the practice is carried out in a pool or shallow water, which is done in a day in approximately 4 hours.

THEORY: It is done online and must be completed before arriving on the island. To obtain the digital package, a payment of $300,000 per person must be made.

Additional Recommendations:

• You must fill out a medical form and book at least one day in advance.
• For night diving, a minimum of 3 people is required to carry out the activity.
• After your last dive, you must wait at least 18 hours before traveling by plane.
• For the Padi course the minimum age is 12 years and the practical and theoretical part must be passed to obtain the certificate.
